Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions seeks a Texas Rising Star Mentor to coach Early Learning Programs, remotely or in person, guiding certification progress and quality improvement across an 11-county region. You will support providers with professional development and access to resources while maintaining comprehensive records.

The role emphasizes collaboration with program staff, teachers, and administrators to drive improved instructional practices and program outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field.
• One-year full-time early childhood classroom experience.
• Experience in social services relating to parents, children and providers.
• Willingness to pursue Texas Rising Star Mentor certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching to support continuous quality improvement for providers.
• Maintain accurate case files for contracted child care providers.
• Prepare and explain provider contractual agreements.
• Develop and implement CQIPs with providers.
• Deliver professional development to support quality improvement.
• Collaborate with administrators, teachers and others to improve practices.
