Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions is seeking an Infant-Toddler Specialist to coach providers and deliver targeted trainings to educators and administrators. You will work to advance continuous quality improvement across early childhood programs and may travel regionally to partner sites.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in early childhood education or related field, plus experience in child care settings. Training via TECPDS and CLI Engage will be part of the certification process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field.
• High School Diploma required.
• Three years of full-time early childhood classroom experience.
• Infant-Toddler caregiving experience preferred.
• Knowledge of child care licensing standards.
• Ability to write clearly and maintain records.
• Ability to relate to diverse groups.
• Willingness to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching to support continuous quality improvement for providers.
• Provide face-to-face and/or remote training for classroom teachers and administrators.
• Become a Registered Trainer on TECPDS.
• Complete all required training via CLI Engage to become certified.
• Partner with providers to develop and implement Infant-Toddler trainings.
• Deliver professional development experiences to support continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with administrators and staff to interpret child data for growth and development.
• Promote the Texas Infant-Toddler program with partnering agencies and the public.
• Maintain caseloads and complete documentation for contracted centers.
• Submit training hours and video training to the appropriate networks.
• Attend monthly Professional Learning Committees (PLC).
• Complete prerequisites for required PLCs.
