Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field required.
• Minimum three years of experience in early childhood education, Head Start, Early Head Start, child care, or Pre-K through 3rd grade settings.
• Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development to child care providers, teachers, and administrators.
• Deliver in-person and virtual training on early childhood education, Texas Rising Star (TRS), and related topics.
• Obtain and maintain TECPDS Registered Trainer and Texas Rising Star Mentor certifications.
• Partner with providers to develop and implement Continuous Quality Improvement Plans (CQIPs).
• Support providers in improving instructional practices through data analysis, assessments, and coaching.
• Prepare and administer provider contracts and maintain provider records and case files.
• Ensure documentation, data entry, reporting, and compliance with Workforce Board and TWC requirements.
• Promote Workforce Solutions Child Care, Texas Rising Star, TECPDS, and related programs.
• Maintain assigned provider caseloads and monitor provider compliance with program requirements.
• Develop and evaluate training programs, workshops, and technical assistance activities.
• Build positive relationships with providers, families, community partners, and staff.
• Identify and communicate program concerns or operational challenges to management.
