Job summary

UTHealth Houston is seeking a Texas Rising Star Assessor II to reliably assess early learning programs across Texas. You will collect data, score observations, and enter results into CLI Engage while maintaining certification and quality standards.

The role involves extensive travel, on-site reviews, and an intensive 10-week onboarding with remote training components. Strong organization and data-handling skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field required; Master’s or Doctorate preferred.
• 3 years of relevant experience; substitution possible with additional education.
• Proficiency with Office software; comfort with online platforms and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Collect assessment data from visits and administer Texas Rising Star protocols.
• Score, input program evidence, and enter data into CLI Engage per manuals.
• Maintain accurate, timely records and monitor certification status statewide.
• Attain and maintain ATCP certification; participate in weekly coding calls.
• Complete annual professional development and reliability checks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
