Metric5 is seeking a TRIRIGA Maximo Applications System Engineer to support a DHS project focused on real property and logistics in the Washington DC Metro Area with hybrid work.

Responsibilities include leading SDLC activities, data migrations, web services, UI/UX and performance tuning, with a strong emphasis on security for PIIS/SSI data and enterprise integration.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years IT experience on large complex business systems.
• Hands-on experience with IBM TRIRIGA or IBM Maximo is required.
• 5 years of Oracle Database, Java/J2EE, Microsoft Office, ETL tools.
• 5 years experience with data security for PIIS/SSI environments.
• Relational DB design and development expertise.
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern web frameworks knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle SDLC projects from design to testing.
• Support Agile estimation and development ceremonies.
• Provide maintenance, configuration, and enhancements.
• Analyze user stories and LOE estimates for SCRs.
• Configure and integrate with Office 365 and external systems.
• Develop data loading, validation, and migration scripts.
• Develop integrated web services for DHS and partners.
• Participate in architecture decisions and performance tuning.
• Ensure responsive UI/UX and cross‑platform compatibility.
• Manage databases containing PII and SSI securely.
• Integrate AutoCAD floor plans into the enterprise platform.
• Communicate technical concepts to executives and stakeholders.
• Contribute to Metric5 corporate growth initiatives.

TRIRIGA Maximo Applications System Engineer

Location Washington DC Metro Area Hybrid

Metric5 is seeking a TRIRIGA Maximo Applications System Engineer to support an upcoming Department of Homeland Security DHS project focused on managing real property and logistics

Key Responsibilities

• Full Lifecycle Development Lead software development lifecycle SDLC projects including performance analysis design development and testing
• Support Agile estimation and development ceremonies
• Maintenance & Support Provide configuration and custom development support for ongoing perfective maintenance enhancements and corrective maintenance bug fixes
• Analyze user stories and provide Level of Effort LOE estimates for System Change Requests SCRs
• System Integration & Data Migration Configure and integrate applications with systems like Microsoft Office 365
• Develop and execute data loading validation and migration scripts for facility related data and as builts
• Web Services Development Write integrated web services code to interface with external systems across DHS and partner agencies
• Architecture & Performance Tuning Participate in application architecture decisions and lead performance tuning efforts
• UIUX & Responsive Design Utilize UIUX prototyping visual design and handoff tools to ensure seamless user experiences
• Implement Responsive Web Design RWD across platforms and maintain browser independence
• Database Management Provide database support and data fixes for large complex government databases containing Personally Identifiable Information PII and Security Sensitive Information SSI
• AutoCAD Integration Apply polylines to AutoCAD floor plans and ensure dwg files load error free into the enterprise platform
• Stakeholder Communication Communicate technical concepts clearly to non technical executive level government officials and management teams
• Corporate Contribution Participate in Metric5 corporate growth initiatives and team activities

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Overall Experience Minimum of 8 years of IT experience working as a senior developer or technology expert on large complex business systems
• Platform Expertise Hands on experience with IBM TRIRIGA or IBM Maximo is required
• Core Technical Stack 5 years of experience with Oracle Database JavaJ2EE Microsoft Office AutoCAD and Extract Transform Load ETL tools
• Data Security 5 years of experience developing and managing complex government databases containing PIISSI
• Database Design Proven hands on experience with relational database management system RDBMS design and development
• UIUX & Web Development Proficient in HTML CSS and JavaScript
• Experience with front end frameworks Bootstrap Foundation Materialize
• Experience with asynchronous JavaScript frameworks ReactJS or AngularJS
• Knowledge of asset bundlers Webpack Grunt Gulp and CSS preprocessors SassSCSS
• DevOps & Tools Experience with Git for version control and containerizationenvironment tools Docker Vagrant or Apache Mesos
• Education Bachelors degree in Information Systems Computer Science or a related technical field
• Clearance US Citizenship required; must be able to obtain and maintain a DHS agency specific Public Trust
• Location Must reside in the Washington DC Metro area for hybrid work requirements
