Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana—Richmond campus is seeking a full-time Project Director for the TRIO/SSS grant to lead daily coordination and ensure compliance with federal and college policies. The role manages staff, budgets, reporting, and program services for at-risk students.

The director works with the Sponsored Programs Office and college leadership to implement activities, track outcomes, and support student success through effective program administration.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in educational leadership, education, administrative guidance and counseling, developmental education, counseling, social work, human services, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of direct experience in collegiate student services or in the delivery of social services to disadvantaged populations.
• Supervisory experience.
• Preferred minimum of two years of personnel supervision and budget management.
• Evidence of strong personnel management skills and fiscal/administrative experience.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• General knowledge of federal government regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the program budget and authorize expenditures of federal funds.
• Direct and evaluate the TRIO SSS program per USDOE rules and regulations.
• Ensure all items from the approved proposal are implemented.
• Design and implement TRIO program policies and procedures.
• Prepare and submit the Annual Performance Report (APR) with support from the Sponsored Programs Office.
• Maintain documentation for audits and compliance with regulations.
• Supervise SSS staff and student workers; coordinate activities with college staff.
• Coordinate recruitment, eligibility determinations, and student services for SSS participants.
