Job summary

Bristol Community College is seeking a Special Programs Coordinator for the TRIO Student Support Services program in Fall River, MA. The role reports to the Director of TRIO and is full-time with grant funding and benefits under the MCCC/MTA contract.

The coordinator will lead programming, budgeting, data reporting and partner engagement to promote student persistence and degree completion, with emphasis on first-generation and low-income students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Business Administration, Human Services, or related field.
• Minimum of three years in education, advising, human services, business administration, or related program management.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to work with institutional data systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite and online platforms.

Responsibilities

• Oversee TRIO SSS program operations to align with regulations and institutional priorities.
• Represent the TRIO SSS program at events to promote visibility and collaboration.
• Manage budgeting, purchasing, data collection, and compliance reporting.
• Design and evaluate activities that promote student engagement and success.
