Job summary

Colorado State University in Fort Collins seeks an Assistant Director for the TRIO Educational Opportunity Center. This full-time professional role reports to the Director of the EOC within the CSU Access Center and helps expand equitable access to postsecondary education.

The position oversees staff and services to 2,500 participants across Adams, Larimer and Weld counties, manages the grant, builds partnerships, and pursues additional funding opportunities while ensuring compliance with

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in liberal arts, education, behavioral/social sciences, social work, communications, or related field.
• One year of full-time (40hrs) professional experience promoting educational access and/or providing academic assistance.
• Experience with first-generation and low-income populations.
• Experience with target populations including high school students and adult learners from first-generation/low-income communities.
• Must have a valid Colorado Driver’s License or reliable vehicle for work travel.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement EOC grant proposal, manage program, implement policies, procedures, and federal regulations.
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with campus programs, administration, faculty, departments, community organizations, businesses, and schools.
• Plan, develop, manage budget, monitor, ensure meeting federal, state, and CSU fiscal rules and policies.
• Hire, train, supervise and evaluate staff performance.
• Implement formative and summative program assessment, submit reports to Dept of Education.
• Identify and pursue additional funding resources to supplement grant.
