Opportunity Resource Services, Inc. (ORS) is seeking a College Access Advisor to recruit and serve participants in the TRIO EOC program. The role includes outreach in the Tarrant County area, assisting with education plans, and guiding applicants through college and financial aid processes.

The position is part-time, requires flexible scheduling, and involves hybrid work at partner sites in the DFW area. The candidate will work closely with the Assistant Director to meet project objectives and

Qualifications

Post-secondary coursework in education, social work, or a related field or an Associate’s or higher degree.
Experience with college admissions and financial aid processes.
Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for travel between sites.

Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of EOC clients, coordinating services and records.
Recruit participants, plan outreach, and assist with college and financial aid applications.
Plan and facilitate workshops and events and provide high-impact advising.
Maintain data accuracy in student databases and communications systems.
Collaborate with community partners and program stakeholders.
