Job summary

Contra Costa Community College District is seeking an Academic/Student Services Manager (TRIO Director, Upward Bound interim assignment) to lead programs and supervise staff in support of student success. Position is interim through 6/30/2027, full-time (40 hours/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5pm) with a salary range of $113,664 to $138,480 per year and annual step increases until the maximum is reached.

Requires a Master’s degree and at least three years of relevant experience, plus a California

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
• Three years of full-time instructional, student, and/or relevant support services experience.
• Valid Class C California Driver’s License.
• Desirable: Experience leading federally funded programs (TRiO).
• Desirable: Ability to interpret federal, state, and district policies and regulations related to grant-funded student services.

Responsibilities

• Oversee up to several small academic programs or projects with budgets.
• Assist in hiring processes and manage faculty, staff and supervision.
• Coordinate program functions with instructional, student and support services.
• Lead grant applications, reporting and compliance activities.
• Engage with college and district committees to promote student success.
