Job summary

Advanced Pedestals, LTD in Gainesville, TX is seeking a production associate to perform secondary operations and operate CNC machines and a bandsaw. The role requires following detailed instructions to produce parts and to inspect quality, with responsibilities that include reporting issues and maintaining cleanliness in a manufacturing setting.

Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years related experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Basic tool use and manual dexterity required.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed instructions, processes, and procedures to correctly produce parts.
• Trim, mend, flame, palletize, deflash, router, and inspect parts to meet customer requirements.
• Able to detect defective parts.
• Operate CNC machine and bandsaw.
• Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, or materials to the Production Supervisor.
• Complete routine tasks with minimal supervision.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
• Other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor.

JOB PURPOSE

Perform secondary operations (e.g. assembly, routering, deflashing) within a specified cycle time.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY

• Follow detailed instructions, processes, and procedures to correctly produce parts.
• Trim, mend, flame, palletize, deflash, router, and inspect parts to meet customer requirements.
• Able to detect defective parts.
• Operate CNC machine and bandsaw
• Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, or materials to the Production Supervisor
• Complete routine tasks with minimal supervision
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
• Other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor

Schedule:

1st Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 3:00 pm 2nd Monday – Friday 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm 3rd Monday – Friday 11:00 pm – 7:00 am

Must be able to work overtime on the weekends occasionally.
