Staffmark seeks a dedicated Trimmer in Winston-Salem, NC, to trim molded plastic parts and ensure they meet quality specs. You will follow detailed work instructions, record production data, and uphold safety standards throughout every shift.

Location: Winston Salem, NC

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Schedule: 2nd Shift

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred


• Ability to read and follow work instructions, production documentation, and quality procedures


• Willingness to complete hands-on training for trimming, inspection, safety, and quality standards

Experience Requirements

• Manufacturing, production, assembly, or plastics molding experience preferred but not required


• Experience performing repetitive production tasks with a high level of accuracy


• Ability to follow standardized work instructions and maintain production records


• Quality inspection experience is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality


• Ability to identify and report molding defects, including excess flash and quality concerns


• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic


• Ability to work independently while maintaining production standards


• Strong communication skills and willingness to provide feedback for process improvements


• Familiarity with ISO quality standards and manufacturing environments is beneficial

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to perform repetitive hand and finger movements throughout the shift


• Capable of maintaining focus on detailed trimming work for extended periods


• Ability to sit, stand, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday


• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity


• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Job Duties

• Trim molded plastic components to meet customer and quality specifications


• Follow work instructions, standard operating procedures, and production documentation requirements


• Inspect finished components and identify excess flash, defects, or quality issues


• Provide consistent feedback regarding flash creep and molding concerns to support production quality


• Accurately complete production and inspection documentation


• Assist the Trimming Lead by providing feedback on work instructions and process improvements


• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area


• Support molding production goals by working efficiently and meeting quality expectations


• Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures at all times


• Participate in training related to trimming processes, inspection procedures, safety practices, and quality standards
