Job summary

Staffmark in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking an Operator - Direct Hire for 1st shift. Pay rate $16.00-$17.00 per hour and a path to join a growing team in a professional environment.

You will assemble products according to specifications, operate assembly equipment, and maintain quality records. Minimum 2 years manufacturing experience and a high school diploma are required. Clean room/medical manufacturing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assemble products and components according to customer specifications and manufacturing procedures.
• Follow direction from the Clean Room Lead to support daily production goals.
• Operate and monitor assembly equipment while maintaining quality standards.
• Interpret manufacturing process sheets and work instructions accurately.
• Perform in-process quality inspections using gauges, measuring devices, and inspection tools.
• Maintain accurate production, quality, and inventory records as required.
• Report production, quality, or equipment concerns to the Clean Room Lead.
• Follow all safety policies and clean room procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
• Assist with training new employees and support team success.
• Recommend process improvements that enhance quality, safety, and productivity.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to read and follow manufacturing process sheets, work instructions, and quality standards
• Basic computer and documentation skills for production and quality recordkeeping

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing, assembly, or production experience required
• Experience working in a clean room, medical manufacturing, or quality-focused production environment is a plus
• Familiarity with assembly equipment, inspection tools, gauges, and quality procedures preferred
• Experience maintaining production records and meeting productivity goals

• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
