Job summary

Wolf Tree, Inc. in Alpharetta, GA, is seeking a dynamic utility tree trimmer to join our outdoor-focused crew. Work outdoors every day, climbing with DdRT/MRS or SRT/SRS systems to prune and remove trees for major electric utilities.

You’ll operate chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts while coordinating with ground crew and a foreperson. Grow your skills, safety mindset, and service to communities. The role emphasizes outdoor work, teamwork, and delivering safe, reliable service to utility

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation.

Responsibilities

• Climb trees using DdRT/MRS or SRT/SRS climbing systems.
• Perform pruning and removal for major electric utility providers.
• Prune treetops and remove damaged limbs.
• Remove broken limbs from utility lines, roofs, and other objects.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.
• Work as part of a crew with ground crew and foreperson.

Job Duties

What You’ll Do:

• Climb Trees! Davey offers both DdRT/MRS and SRT/SRS climbing systems
• Perform all aspects of tree pruning and removal services safely and skillfully for major electric utility providers. Including but not limited to:
• Pruning treetops and repairing damaged trees by trimming or removal
• Removing broken limbs from utility lines, roofs, and other objects
• Application of tree identification knowledge and industry pruning guidelines
• Properly maintain, prepare and operate all tools and equipment including, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts and more
• Operate as an active crew member with supporting ground crew and foreperson
