Job summary

Viking Corp is hiring for Trim Assembly on the 3rd shift in Hastings, MI. The role requires assembling parts according to blueprints, securing parts with wrenches, inspecting for quality, and packaging trimmed valves to Viking standards.

Employees may earn an additional $1.00/hour for 2nd & 3rd shift depending on schedule. High School Diploma or GED with 1–3 years related experience is acceptable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or 1–3 years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to follow blueprints or unit assembly procedures.

Responsibilities

• Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints.
• Fastens parts together with wrenches and pipe compound ensuring proper torque is used.
• Inspects parts for proper quality and ensures a proper seal is achieved.
• Tests Trimmed and Pre-Trimmed Valves and Devices per approval guidelines.
• Inspects and packages trimmed valves according to Viking quality standards.
• Disassembles pre-trimmed valves and packages per work order instructions.
• Identifies scrap and salvage and records for inventory purposes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
