Job summary

UTEX Industries in Texas is seeking a hands-on Trim Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will operate process and mechanical equipment, read measurements, and ensure production remains within specifications with a strong focus on safety and quality.

• 0–3 years of job-related experience.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to use measuring tools and basic computer programs.
• Basic math, computer, and communication skills.
• Comfortable with physical tasks; able to lift up to 50 lbs and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Safely and consistently operate process and mechanical equipment such as clicker press, lathes, ovens and other equipment as required.
• Effectively utilize measuring tools such as scales, calipers, rulers and other tools as required.
• Safely utilize sharp tools such as razor blades, scalpels, scissors and other tools as required.
• Adhere to company policies, standard work procedures and job safety standards, including required PPE.
• Support preventative maintenance program efforts.
• Accurately input data to the MRP system.
• Produce products within specifications and production requirements.
• Maintain product identification and traceability.

What You’ll Do

As a Trim Operator Your responsibilities will include:

Work Environment

You’ll work in both manufacturing and office environments, using tools and equipment daily. PPE and steel‑toed footwear are required.

Expected Hours Of Work

This is a full‑time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday.

Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
