Brief Description

Are you looking for a hands‑on role in a dynamic manufacturing environment? UTEX is seeking a Rubber Machine Operator to safely and efficiently operate machinery to process rubber materials for downstream production. This role is essential to maintaining our high‑quality standards and ensuring on‑time production.

What You’ll Do
  • Operate process equipment including mills, extruders, calenders, barwells, and friction towers.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Accurately input production data into the MRP system.
  • Perform product quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Use measuring and inspection tools.
  • Support preventative maintenance and housekeeping standards.
  • Follow all PPE, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Work closely with supervisors and other team members to meet production goals.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Operate forklifts (certification required or provided).
What We’re Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to use measuring tools and basic computer programs.
  • Basic math, computer, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable with physical tasks like bending, climbing, and kneeling.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and follow safety protocols.
  • Preferred: Forklift experience.
Work Environment

You’ll work in both manufacturing and office environments, using tools and equipment daily. PPE and steel‑toed footwear are required.

Expected Hours of Work

This is a full‑time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
