Redding Rancheria is seeking a Tribal Receptionist to greet visitors, answer phones, perform clerical tasks and support HR activities. The role is the first point of contact for employees and visitors, with a Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule.

The Redding Rancheria is seeking a Tribal Receptionist. The preferred schedule for this position is Monday - Thursday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
The listed wage reflects the entry-level rate for this position. Compensation may be adjusted based on experience, education, and qualifications.
Greet and direct visitors, answer telephones, perform general clerical work, distribute checks when necessary and provide exceptional customer service to employees, clients and visitors. This position serves as the first point of contact with visitors and customers.
1. Welcome visitors and guests in a friendly and courteous manner and notify the office staff of arrivals.
2. Operate and manage multi-line telephones, routes incoming phone calls and routes all voicemails left on general mailbox.
4. Receives, sorts and processes incoming and outgoing mail.
5. Handle all incoming and outgoing facsimiles.
6. Handle all incoming and outgoing UPS packages and schedule FedEx pick-ups.
7. Assist the HR department in the hiring process by processing all job applications, personal reference checks, supervisor reference checks, etc.
8. Handle postage money and reconciliation when necessary.
9. Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. This includes but is not limited to, ensuring the weekly fruit is kept organized, and in good condition, keeping the popcorn machine clean etc.
10. Assist Human Resources department in all employee activities; All Staff meetings, family fit events, luncheons, Employee Appreciation Day, wellness conference, staff development day, etc.
All certifications, credentials/licenses, education verification /degrees and/or transcripts, and Indian verification are required to process your application.

Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background screening clearance. All employees are required to submit to a Tuberculosis test (TB) test after they are hired in addition to being tested annually.
