Job summary

Pala Band of Mission Indians is seeking a Laborer for the Tribal Services department. The role supports the Tribal Services Manager by performing outdoor maintenance and refuse tasks while assisting in community needs.

The position runs full-time, hourly from 6:30am to 3:00pm, with duties including digging trenches, tree cutting, septic cleaning, and trash pickup on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. A valid CA driver’s license and drug testing are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must have valid California Driver’s License with DMV printout.
• 1+ year of general construction or maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in outside maintenance and refuse work.
• Dig trenches and assist in cutting down trees.
• Clean septic tanks and pick up trash as scheduled (Wed/Fri).
• Help other departments as needed within tribal services.
• Must lift 100 pounds or more.
