Job summary

The Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board seeks a Policy Services Manager to oversee administrative services for the Policy Division, including Government Affairs and Board Relations. You will coordinate QBMs, events, and stakeholder activities, while supervising staff and handling confidential information.

You will support TYD program coordination, prepare policy materials, and ensure timely execution of priorities in collaboration with tribal partners and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Communications, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Health Policy
• At least five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in government relations, Tribal policy administration, public health or Tribal program management, executive support, program administration, or a closely related field
• At least two (2) years of professional experience working with Tribes, Tribal organizations, Tribal communities, or Tribal health clinics
• Strong writing skills and ability to communicate complex information clearly

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Policy activities and QBMs and related events
• Provide executive coordination and schedule management for the Policy Division
• Support Tribal Youth Delegate Program coordination and engagement
• Maintain Policy files and documentation
• Assist with policy reports, briefs, and presentations for leadership
