Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required; emphasis preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience, not-for-profit/government experience a plus.
• Experience in grants management, financial accounting including reconciliations, and governmental standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs monthly closing, grants management, grant reporting, and financial reporting to key decision makers.
• Prepares polished deliverables for clients; ensures timely client deliverables.
• Develops policies and procedures on key accounting matters.
• Collaborates with clients to understand current practices, identify improvement opportunities, and update policies and procedures.
• Performs project start-up activities, follows work plans, adheres to schedules, and attends kickoff meetings.
• Coordinates with clients during audits and helps prepare for audits.
• Assists with growing the practice; reviews work for accuracy; contributes as a Business Consulting Services team member.
• Occasionally travels to client locations, trainings, or industry conferences.
