Job summary

Paramount Legal in Atlanta, GA, seeks an experienced Trial Paralegal to join our insurance defense team. This role focuses on hands-on trial preparation, owning cases, and collaborating with a team of attorneys.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of litigation experience, strong discovery and deposition skills, and a Bachelor's degree. Hybrid work schedule: 3 days in office, 2 remote, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation experience.
• Extensive trial preparation experience including witness/exhibit lists and coordinating experts.
• Strong experience drafting and responding to discovery requests.
• Experience preparing medical chronologies and summaries.
• Experience with depositions, subpoenas, and case management.
• Experience billing time.
• Insurance Defense experience preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare witness and exhibit lists and coordinate expert witnesses.
• Prepare trial notebooks and exhibits; assist attorneys during trial.
• Draft and respond to discovery requests.
• Prepare medical chronologies and summaries.
• Handle depositions, subpoenas, and overall case management.
• Track and bill time for matters.

This is a great opportunity for a seasoned litigation paralegal who enjoys being actively involved in trial preparation, taking ownership of cases, and working with a team of attorneys.
