Job summary

Poulin | Willey Trial Lawyers seeks an experienced Trial Lawyer to join our growing personal injury team across South Carolina. An active South Carolina Bar license in good standing is required, with ownership of a caseload from filing through discovery, hearings, mediations, and trial.

The successful candidate will represent clients, draft pleadings, conduct depositions, and handle mediations and trials, collaborating with paralegals for thorough case prep.

Qualifications

• Active South Carolina bar license in good standing.
• Ideally 1+ years of litigation/trial experience in personal injury or related areas.
• Strong negotiation, advocacy, and courtroom skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in personal injury matters from initial litigation through settlement or verdict.
• Draft and file litigation documents including pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions, and legal memoranda.

We are dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes for our clients and are looking for an attorney with strong courtroom skills, proven litigation experience, and a commitment to client service. You will take ownership of your caseload and lead matters from filing through discovery, hearings, mediations, and trial.

What You Will Do

• Active membership in the South Carolina bar, in good standing.
• Ideally 1+ years of litigation/trial experience in personal injury or related areas, but willing to train those with less experience.
• Strong negotiation, advocacy, and courtroom skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Note: This role can sit ANYWHERE in South Carolina! Must have an active SC Law License. The compensation for this role includes a base of $75,000 plus a bonus percentage.
