Qualifications

• Active membership in the South Carolina bar, in good standing.
• Ideally 1+ years of litigation/trial experience in personal injury or related areas, but training available.
• Strong negotiation, advocacy, and courtroom skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in personal injury matters from filing through settlement or verdict.
• Draft and file litigation documents including pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions, and memoranda.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Handle mediations, hearings, and trial proceedings, including jury selection, opening/closing statements, and examinations.
• Collaborate with paralegals and litigation staff to ensure thorough case preparation.
