Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active admission to practice law in Louisiana state courts.
• Meaningful litigation experience handling personal injury or similar matters.
• Demonstrated experience taking and defending depositions.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigated Louisiana personal injury matters from filing through settlement or trial.
• Develop and execute individualized litigation strategy for each case.
• Evaluate liability, damages, defenses, and discovery needs.
• Prepare and argue dispositive, evidentiary, and pretrial motions.
• Take and defend depositions, coordinate with experts, and prepare clients for testimony.
• Develop mediation and settlement strategies and represent clients in negotiations.
• Prepare cases for trial with themes, witnesses, and trial materials.
