Job Title: Trial Attorney

Salary Range: $100K - $200K Plus Bonus

Type of Position: Full Time

Location: Denver, Colorado - FULLY REMOTE

Job Description

Core duties include drafting pleadings, reviewing discovery, arguing motions remotely and in court, taking depositions, preparing trial documents, participating in trials, litigating cases strategically, drafting mediation briefs, communicating with clients, managing litigation staff, and attending professional training sessions.

• Draft pleadings (complaints, motions, oppositions)
• Draft and review discovery, meet and confer letters, and discovery motions
• Argue motion and opposition hearings remotely and in Court
• Take and defend depositions
• Prepare pre-trial documents and trial materials
• Active participation in trial
• Strategically litigate cases by obtaining key evidence
• Draft mediation briefs and attend mediations, negotiate settlements
• Communicate regularly with clients
• Manage litigation assistants and paralegals
• Attend trainings for professional development

Requirements

• 3+ years as an Attorney in PI in Washington State
• JD and admission to the Colorado bar
• Strong advocacy skills
• Motivated to learn and grow
• Well organized
• Resourceful and persistent
• Civil litigation or personal injury experience is a plus
