Job summary

A dynamic and rapidly growing personal injury and property damage law firm seeks a highly motivated Trial Attorney to join their team. You will meet with clients, discuss cases, and communicate with insurance companies regarding claims, demands, and offers.

You will also prepare cases for trial and try them if needed, leveraging strong negotiation and communication skills. Ideal candidates are bilingual (English/Spanish), independently driven, and team-oriented, with extensive litigation

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • 6+ years of litigation experience.
  • 5+ jury trials as first chair preferred.
  • Member of the Florida Bar in good standing.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
  • Experience evaluating claims and superb negotiation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and be team-oriented.

Responsibilities

A dynamic and rapidly growing personal injury and property damage law firm, seeks a highly motivated and passionate Trial Attorney to join their team.


Position Summary

In this role, you will see that clients receive the best care and obtain excellent results. You are expected to meet with clients to discuss their case, show compassion and empathy, and demonstrate an ability to earn their trust, confidence, and respect. You will also update clients and communicate with insurance companies from time to time regarding the status of claims, demands, and offers. In addition, you should be able to prepare the case for trial and try the case if needed.


Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:



  • Full-time

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

  • 6 or more years of litigation experience

  • 5 or more jury trials as first chair preferred

  • Member of the Florida Bar and in good standing

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

  • Experience in knowing how to evaluate claims, etc.

  • Superb negotiation skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Have a proactive approach to problem-solving

  • Ability to work independently in an office environment

  • Team-oriented
