Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking a dynamic Trial Attorney for a rapidly growing personal injury and property damage law firm in Illinois. You will meet with clients, discuss cases, and build trust while preparing cases for trial and handling trial if needed.

The role requires a Juris Doctor and 6+ years of litigation experience, with preference for candidates who have 5+ jury trials as first chair and are members in good standing of the Illinois Bar. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

  • REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS in the ad.

A dynamic and rapidly growing personal injury and property damage law firm, seeks a highly motivated and passionate Trial Attorney to join their team

Position Summary

In this role, you will see that clients receive the best care and obtain excellent results. You are expected to meet with clients to discuss their case, show compassion and empathy, and demonstrate an ability to earn their trust, confidence, and respect. You will also update clients and communicate with insurance companies from time to time regarding the status of claims, demands, and offers. In addition, you should be able to prepare the case for trial and try the case if needed.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:

  • Full-time
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • 6 or more years of litigation experience
  • 5 or more jury trials as first chair preferred
  • Member of the Illinois Bar and in good standing
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
  • Experience in knowing how to evaluate claims, etc.
  • Superb negotiation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Have a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work independently in an office environment
  • Team-oriented
