Job description

LHH is assisting a boutique landlord-tenant firm based in Marietta, Georgia. The firm specializes in commercial real estate leasing and represents high-level clients. The practice spans multiple states, and the firm is dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to its clients.

Job Description: As an Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for handling various landlord-tenant matters. You will work closely with clients to provide strategic legal advice and representation in complex landlord-tenant disputes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in landlord-tenant matters, including commercial real estate leasing disputes.
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and provide strategic legal advice to clients.
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations, both in-person and via Zoom.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and provide excellent client service.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Georgia Bar is required.
  • Additional bar admissions in Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, or Virginia are a plus.
  • 1-4 years of practice experience, with a preference for landlord-tenant or civil litigation experience.
  • Bankruptcy experience is a big plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Preference for candidates with law review experience, but not required.

Work Environment: In-office work environment with typical hours 9am-6pm. No billable hour requirement. Mentorship and training provided. Competitive salary and benefits package.
