Job summary

Edward Elmhurst Health in Round Lake Beach, IL is seeking a part-time Triage Registered Nurse for the Pediatrics Medical Group. The role includes phone triage, test results, medication refills, prior authorizations, and patient education, with hours Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:00pm and Saturdays 8am–12pm or 9am–1pm.

You will document in Epic and support care plans under the Practice Manager and physicians. Ideal candidates have IL RN licensure, NLN-accredited training (BSN preferred) and BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• Current IL RN licensure required.
• Graduate of NLN‑accredited nursing program; BSN strongly preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification for healthcare providers required.
• 1 year of nursing experience in an office or hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under direction of the Practice Manager and physicians.
• Phone triage, review test results, medication refills, prior authorizations, conveying plans of care and patient education.
• Review and respond to NorthShore Connect messages from patients.
• Chart in Epic EMR.
