Job summary

Endeavor Health in Skokie, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Medical Group on a full-time basis. You will provide nursing care under the direction of the Practice Manager and physicians, handle phone triage, test results, medication refills, and prior authorizations.

The role requires IL RN license, NLN-accredited program, BLS certification, at least 1 year of nursing experience in an office or hospital setting, and the ability to chart in Epic.

Qualifications

• Current professional Nursing Licensure in the state of IL required.
• NLN accredited nursing program completed.
• BSN preferred.
• 1 year of nursing experience in an office or hospital setting required.
• BLS/CPR certification for Health Care Provider required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under direction of Practice Manager and Physicians.
• Perform phone triage, review test results, handle medication refills and prior authorizations.
• Respond to patient messages and educate patients on plans of care.
• Chart in Epic electronic medical record.

Hourly Pay Range: $35.15 - $54.48 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Position: Registered Nurse Medical Group
• Location: Skokie, IL
• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time (40 hours per week)
• Hours: Monday through Friday 9:00am-5:30pm
• Required Travel: Travel to other sites based on department need

What you will do:

• Provide nursing care services under the direction of the office Practice Manager and Physicians
• Phone triage, test results, medication refills, prior authorizations, conveying plans of care patient education/teaching
• Review and respond to NorthShore Connect messages from patients
• Chart in Epic, our electronic medical record

What you will need:

• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
• Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
• Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required
• Experience: 1 year of nursing experience in an office or hospital setting required
