Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Baptist Medical Center East to deliver direct, individualized patient care under the supervision of an RN. You will administer medications, monitor symptoms, and report changes to the RN.

Some duties may involve Employee Health screenings under RN oversight. Requirements include a high school diploma, an active LPN license, and BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required depending on the department.

Highlights

Summary: The LPN shall be responsible for direct, individualized, goal-directed, and effective patient care under the supervision of the RN. This individual shall provide care as outlined in the Nursing Care Plan in accordance with Standards of Practice, policies, and procedures. The LPN will be responsible for administration of medications, report patient symptoms and conditions to the RN. For the LPN within Employee Health, the individual will be responsible for new hire and annual health screenings under the direct supervision of the RN. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.

Education / Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required.

License / Certification

Active LPN license required, BLS required, Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc) may be required based upon department assigned.
