The LPN shall be responsible for direct, individualized, goal‑directed, and effective patient care under the supervision of the RN. This individual will provide care as outlined in the Nursing Care Plan in accordance with Standards of Practice, policies, and procedures. The LPN will be responsible for administration of medications, report patient symptoms and conditions to the RN. For the LPN within Employee Health, the individual will be responsible for new hire and annual health screenings under the direct supervision of the RN. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Degree in Nursing or completion of LPN program required.
Active LPN license required, Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) may be required based upon department assigned.
