Job summary

Baptist Health - Central Alabama is seeking an LPN for triage duties at Baptist Medical Center East. The role provides direct, goal-directed patient care under RN supervision, administering medications and reporting patient conditions.

Qualifications

Highlights

Summary: The LPN shall be responsible for direct, individualized, goal-directed, and effective patient care under the supervision of the RN. This individual shall provide care as outlined in the Nursing Care Plan in accordance with Standards of Practice, policies, and procedures. The LPN will be responsible for administration of medications, report patient symptoms and conditions to the RN. For the LPN within Employee Health, the individual will be responsible for new hire and annual health screenings under the direct supervision of the RN. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.

Education / Experience

Education / Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required.

License / Certification

License / Certification: Active LPN license required, BLS required, Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc) may be required based upon department assigned
