Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Current Nebraska RN or LPN license.
• BLS required.
• ACLS required for ER/Charge nurses.
• TNCC required for ER and Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care.
• Collaborates with health care providers to coordinate medical and nursing management.
• Provides patient care supervision.
• Performs emergency treatment as required within RN scope.
• Performs and maintains documentation.
• Promotes patient and staff safety.
• Participates in committees and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains professional development through education and literature.
• Follows HIPAA and regulatory requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
