Job summary

Apple is seeking an enthusiastic engineer for its Triage Engineering team to screen and triage bug reports and help deliver high-quality releases for iOS, macOS, and related applications.

You will manage a large incoming bug queue, translate reports into practical steps, and collaborate with various engineering teams to ensure timely resolution, with an emphasis on automation to speed triage. Strong communication and Python/JavaScript skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in triaging, troubleshooting and debugging techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Git or other source control systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python and JavaScript, or other languages.
• Experience using Gen-AI in day-to-day tasks.

Responsibilities

• Screen incoming bug reports and triage with urgency and accuracy.
• Handle a large bug queue and translate into actionable steps for engineers.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to escalate issues appropriately.
