Job summary

Kleinfelder seeks an Engineering Project Controls Professional to support financial reporting and analysis across a tri-state portfolio, with travel to Linden, NJ. The role emphasizes budgets, forecasts, invoicing, and coordination with the project management team.

Preferred candidates hold accounting/finance credentials, experience in engineering/construction settings, and familiarity with Power BI and Deltek. Travel to project sites in the tri-state area is required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years project controls experience; oil & gas a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; intermediate MS Office.
• Familiarity with Power BI and Deltek preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of project controls and systems on large-scale delivery projects.
• Assist in budget tracking, forecasting, reimbursements, accruals and invoicing.
• Create and maintain project delivery information with forecasts and accruals across the portfolio.
• Provide analysis and reporting and represent project controls within the management team.
• Identify gaps to meet schedule and budget; report to project/portfolio management team.
• Evaluate risks affecting project costs, schedules, and client relations.
• Report on project change requests for portfolio projects.
• Lead meetings on project/portfolio controls and financial performance.
• Complete monthly invoicing per company and client requirements.
