Job summary

Kleinfelder is seeking an Engineering Project Controls Professional to support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management for a portfolio of site assessment and remediation projects. The role requires collaboration with the project controls lead and management teams to ensure accurate financial performance.

The position is flexible geographically, with a preference for candidates in the tri-state area (NJ/PA/NY).

Qualifications

• At least 3 years documented project controls work experience.
• Oil & Gas project controls experience is a plus.
• Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite; Power BI and Deltek preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of all project controls and systems on large-scale delivery projects.
• Assist with budget tracking, forecasting, reimbursements, accruals and invoice tracking.
• Create and maintain project delivery information and reporting for forecasts and accruals across the portfolio.
• Provide analysis and reporting within the project controls function.
• Assess gaps and requirements for meeting schedule and budget; report to PM team.
• Evaluate risks that may affect project costs, schedules, and client relations.
• Report on project changes and lead project control discussions as needed.
• Conduct regular status meetings on project/portfolio controls and financial performance.
• Complete monthly invoicing adhering to company and client requirements.
