Job summary

Kleinfelder seeks an Engineering Project Controls Professional to join our tri-state team (NJ, PA, NY) to support site assessment and remediation projects for a long-standing client. A disciplined approach to financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management is essential.

The role requires travel to Linden, NJ and strong MS Office skills; Power BI and Deltek experience are preferred. A project controls background is highly valued in a collaborative environment that supports growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of project controls work experience.
• Oil & Gas project controls experience is a plus.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
• Familiarity with Power BI and Deltek preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works with lead project control specialist and management to support execution of project controls on large delivery projects.
• Assist in budget tracking, forecasting, reimbursements, accruals and invoicing.
• Create and maintain project delivery information establishing forecasts and accruals across the portfolio.
• Provide analysis and reporting for project controls within the team.
• Assess gaps and requirements for schedule and budget, report to management.
• Evaluate risks affecting project costs, schedules and client relations.
• Report on change requests for projects within the portfolio.
• Regularly meet to review project delivery status in relation to controls and financial performance.
• Lead periodic meetings to evaluate portfolio controls and financial performance.
• Complete monthly invoicing adhering to requirements.
