Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Inside Sales Rep at our Trench Safety branch. You will be the key customer contact, recommending solutions, quoting and fulfilling orders for trench safety equipment and services.

You will build relationships and provide outstanding customer service while driving branch growth. Responsibilities include processing quotations, establishing accounts, educating customers on equipment use, dispatching deliveries, and maintaining a well-stocked showroom.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of trench safety products and applications is preferred.
• Exceptional relationship-building and customer service skills.
• Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail and diligent attention to safety.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Process rental quotations, reservations and contracts.
• Establish new rental and sales accounts and generate leads for new business.
• Educate customers about proper equipment use.
• Assist customers with loading and unloading of equipment.
• Dispatch delivery trucks and manage customer expectations regarding delivery.
• Maintain a clean showroom, stocked with merchandise.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
