Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification or training in trench safety and excavation operations.
• Experience operating trenching equipment or related heavy machinery.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry safety standards related to trenching.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and site plans.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise trench excavation activities to meet project timelines and safety protocols.
• Operate and manage trenching equipment, including rental machinery, ensuring proper maintenance and functionality.
• Conduct site assessments to identify potential hazards and implement appropriate safety measures in compliance with OSHA and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and equipment operators to optimize trenching operations and resolve technical or logistical issues.
• Maintain detailed records of trenching activities, equipment usage, and safety inspections to support reporting and continuous improvement efforts.
