Lewis Tree Service is seeking a Trimmer Trainee to support our tree crews in trimming, line clearing, and vegetation management for utility partners. You will gain hands-on experience, operate and maintain tools, and travel to multiple worksites with safety as a priority.

Requirements include at least 6 months on tree crews, willingness to learn climbing/aerial techniques, and valid CDL with medical certification. Training and safety certifications are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience on tree crews as Groundperson or Driver.
• Willingness to climb and learn aerial lift techniques.
• Understanding of basic tree identification and vegetation management.
• Certification: Trimmer Trainee Technical Knowledge/Skills (or ability to obtain).
• Valid driver's license, CDL, and medical certification as required.

Responsabilités

• Support tree crews with ground-level vegetation management around power lines.
• Prune, remove branches and lift logs while climbing or using an aerial lift under supervision.
