Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Petersburg, VA is seeking a full-time crew member to trim, tops, and reshape trees to clear utility powerlines. You will operate and service hand and power tools, load and unload trucks, and assist with debris removal while keeping the work area safe and orderly.

Entry-level position with no prior experience required; high school diploma preferred. Candidates must be able to climb, lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks in all

Qualifications

• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders at various heights
• Able to work in unfavorable weather conditions while handling equipment
• Excellent hand–eye coordination and physical stamina required

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections
• Operates and services tools and equipment
• Cleans up job site and maintains equipment and trucks
• Safely sets up barriers and directs traffic as needed
• Assists with training of new employees
