Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber in Petersburg, VA. This full-time, non-exempt role trims, tops, and reshapes trees to maintain clearance for utility powerlines and ensure safe access for crews.

DL required; candidates must meet safety standards and be able to work in varying weather conditions. Training and PPE provided, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position, no experience required.
• Previous experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cleans up debris and maintains orderly work areas.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds brush into woodchipper.
• Keeps tools and equipment in good working order.
