Job summary

Lewis Tree Service is seeking a skilled Trimmer to support utility vegetation management and tree trimming operations in the Greensboro, NC area. You will work on ground and aerial tasks, with training provided, to maintain clearance around power lines for clients.

Qualifications

• 12+ months experience with tree crews as a Trimmer Trainee.

Responsibilities

• Perform ground-level and elevated tree pruning and vegetation removal to maintain clearance around power lines.
• Operate chainsaws, chippers, and related equipment; rig and lower limbs.
• Assist with job-site setup, maintenance, rigging, traffic control, and cleanup.
• Support site safety by spotting climbers and communicating hazards.
• Apply herbicides following company and legal guidelines.
• Drive and operate trucks and specialized equipment (certified).
• Particpate in job briefings and adhere to safety protocols.
• Travel as needed, including overnight stays.
