Lewis Tree Service is hiring a Trimmer in North Carolina to prune trees at ground level and aloft, fell vegetation, and support safe operations near power lines. You will operate chainsaws, chippers and climbing gear, with travel as needed and on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• 12+ months' experience on tree crews as a Trimmer Trainee.
• Knowledge of tree species and pruning techniques.
• Ability to work at heights with climbing gear or aerial lifts.
• Certification or ability to complete trimmer-related credentials.
• Valid CDL and medical certification as required.
• CPR and First Aid certification provided by Lewis.
• Knowledge of safe herbicide use per guidelines.
• Strong teamwork, communication and situational awareness.
• Compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsabilités

• Ground-level and aloft pruning, felling, and vegetation removal near power lines.
• Operate chainsaws, chippers, and similar gear; lower limbs safely.
• Assist with job-site setup, rigging, traffic control, and cleanup.
• Support site safety by spotting climbers and communicating hazards.
• Apply herbicides per company and legal guidelines.
• Drive and operate trucks and specialized equipment (certification required).
• Participate in job briefings and follow safety protocols.
• Travel as needed, including overnight stays.
