Job summary

Asplundh Careers is seeking a Trimmer/Climber in Pilot Mountain, NC. This full-time, non-exempt role involves trimming and removing trees, operating required tools, and maintaining equipment on job sites.

You will also assist with debris management, vehicle upkeep, and safety measures to protect workers and the public. The position requires climbing and ladder work, physical stamina, and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Walk, climb, and work from ladders on uneven/slippery surfaces.
• No fear of heights.
• Good hand-to-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent further growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Feeds brush & debris into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor job-related damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Maintains good housekeeping on trucks and at work locations.
