Job summary

Applicants should be prepared to work outdoors in varying weather, climb and work from ladders, and pass pre-employment checks. A high school diploma is preferred; on-the-job training may be provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders at heights, in varying weather.
• No fear of heights and good hand-eye coordination.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background checks may apply.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operates and services required tools and equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas to prevent regrowth and loads/unloads trucks.
• Feeds brush into a woodchipper and assists in site clean-up.
• Relays signals, directs traffic, and ensures safety around work area.
• Maintains trucks and equipment and participates in training new employees.
