Job summary

Asplundh Careers seeks a Trimmer/Climber to perform tree trimming and associated duties on a full-time, non-exempt basis in Pittsboro, NC. The role requires operating and maintaining all relevant tools and equipment, loading materials, and assisting in unsafe situations while prioritizing public safety.

Candidates should be able to work from ladders or elevated positions, lift heavy debris, and stay physically fit under varied weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must have good hand-to-eye coordination.
• Able to walk, climb and work from ladders or at various heights under demanding conditions.
• Must be able to work with hands above head and handle equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds brush/debris into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor job-related damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Relays hand signals, directs traffic, drives, and operates trucks and equipment.
