Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in North Carolina is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to join our field team. This full-time, non-exempt position involves trimming and removing trees, operating and servicing tools, loading debris, and helping maintain safe work sites.

Qualifications

• Must have the ability to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, or at various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces while handling equipment or material.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cleans and splits debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Feeds brush into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Maintains good housekeeping on trucks and at work locations.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area.
